My interest in counselling stems from personal experiences with a rare genetic disorder leading to anxiety, depression and issues with identity in my 30’s.  I was later given a diagnosis of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) which is now a manageable part of my life.

Finding the right counsellor helped me understand and manage these issues, leading to positive change. I became a counsellor to support others facing similar challenges.

My Influences, Fantasy and Counselling

Growing up I lived in a world of action heroes, villains and monsters through movies, books and television.  I enjoyed reading “choose your own adventure” style fantasy books from the 1970’s and 1980's.  I still do enjoy fantasy and science fictions films and appreciating other worlds.  I draw on this experience in counselling when clients tell me of their stories.  

I have a lifelong passion for narrative and discovery, I offer an experiential space where we work together to uncover what is real for you through empathy and open-minded curiosity.
